No, fencers of all experience levels are welcome. Beginners will be coached.
Athletic clothes, sneakers, sweat pants or something flexible.
Club members may borrow our equipment. However, experienced fencers are highly encouraged to buy their own.
We fence all three weapons: epee, foil, and sabre.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 7pm to 10pm in the Armory Basement
Membership is open to RPI students, alumni, and members of the local community. All participants must be 18 years of age or older. The club does not accept minors.
Yes, we have club dues For RPI students: $40 per semester, or $80 per academic year
Yes. We compete several times each semester, and club members car pool.
No. The club does not currently have a coach, so we do not offer private lessons. Practices focus on open fencing and peer instruction from experienced members.
